KOOL-IT®; Radiator Flush is formulated with the highest quality additives. These additives will circulate through the cooling system to remove scale, loose rust, mineral deposits and combustion by-products from the coolant system and radiator of a car or truck. Radiators use coolants (anti-freeze), water and other additives. Water contains minerals and ions that form deposits over time on the metal surfaces of your cooling system and radiator. These deposits will reduce the heat transfer rate (which can cause overheating), the deposits also can cause corrosion of the coolant system components and reduce the efficiency and life of the anti-freeze. The longer you drive your vehicle without flushing the radiator and replacing the coolant, the more likely that cooling system problems will arise. Extreme driving conditions, such as; operation in hot climates, extended service intervals, stop and go driving, operation in mountainous areas, speeds above 65 mph, towing, etc., increases the chances of harmful deposit formation in the cooling system.

Directions For Use:

Never remove radiator cap if engine is still hot. With engine cool, remove radiator cap, open radiator drain petcock valve, drain fluid from system into proper container, close radiator drain petcock valve. Add KOOL-IT Radiator Flush to cooling system and fill with water. Replace radiator cap. Start engine, turn heat on high, and run for 10 minutes. Stop the engine. Allow engine to cool. Never remove radiator cap if engine is still hot. Remove radiator cap. Open radiator drain petcock valve. Drain water as before. Refill with water. Replace radiator cap. Start and run engine for 5 minutes. Stop engine. Allow engine to cool. Never remove radiator cap if engine is still hot. Remove radiator cap. Open radiator drain petcock valve. Drain water as before. Fill radiator with recommended anti-freeze and water mixture. Replace radiator cap. For best results, always use KOOL-IT Supreme Coolant Treatment after flushing the system.
